At the University of Hawaii their are many art galleries
that feature beautiful work from around the globe

Southwest China is a feature for the art of the University of Hawaii this week, a region of topographic, climatic and human diversity, is home to 31 of China's 56 ethnic groups. With over 500 of the finest and historically significant objects on loan from Taiwan-based collector, Huang Ying-feng, Writing with Thread celebrates the diverse and splendidly woven and embroidered handicrafts of these peoples.

To promote, perpetuate, preserve and encourage culture and the arts, history and the humanities as central to the quality
of life of the people of Hawai`i. HSFCA funding is provided by the State of Hawai`i
and the National Endowment for the Arts. The HSFCA
is administratively attached to the Department of Accounting and General Services.
